I have to agree with Letrange:
This is an image, er, 2 days after I started a 96 hour job and I DID not start this this morning!. On a planet I regularly start other extractors on. And it has only 9 hours into the job. Its bugging me, mainly as I need to switch the job to a 5 hour one, as I have since Saturday.
Infinite monkeys, thanks CCP. :)
But seriously someone could abuse this - I can't replicate it yet, only thing for sure is I alter other extractors on same planet daily... but its not obvious HOW this is happening - but there is some logic wrong somewhere.
Just thought I'd add my voice to this based on my experience of PI so far...

I'm back, Planatary Interaction
For those who haven't seen me in game - I'm back. I'm still stuck with Real life stuff meaning I'm only getting 1-2 days a week online - but really enjoying EVE when I do get to play.
So I've decided to build a PI stack to manage in my "home" system, which seems great, and should, in-time, produce me a full set of materials to build Deathstars (well POS's). I'm lucky in 2 systems next door should give me a reasonable amount of all pieces needed... Right now, I have a process building a massive amount of P2 mats daily. Once that piece is ready, it'll start going to P3, then P4. I'm hoping P3->P4 will be one planet.
Overall its nice... as its one less thing to buy, and I can sell any spare "parts" on the Jita Market. Its been fun to workout ideal production setups so no nasty "waits" occur.
I had my first duel in ages with Krysania recently, resulting in a win for DeafTurret, but it was close. I'm a little rusty at duels, so will try and avoid, but engage if provoked....
Well done Mynxee on the CSM. No wonder you got chairwoman - great campaign!. I do still hope to participate in CSM when my life isn't full of wedding stuff (probably 2013!). BTW, we're getting married in 2012, but with the venue being other end of England (literally) - its a pain, as every other weekend we're going up to scout out "the venue", church, etc. We think both are now sorted, finally, but just need to finalise the date prior to booking....

Pyerite
On my trips into New Eden - the biggest change has been Pyerite... 6.72 isk a unit locally on buy-orders. Wow.
Usually my mineral basket buy-price (and my existing stock) is a 2.09 -2.5. So Pyerite has tripled in price inside last few months compared to previous buy prices experienced.
Rest of mineral basket has changed too, with high-end minerals such as Zydrine and Megacyte changing from high prices to relatively low....
My reasons I can determine for this are several fold.
1/ Wormholes - people concentrating mining high-ends only
2/ The recent ganking of Hulks in high-sec - leaving less minerals coming in from this route and refines from drops as a general rule having a low Pyerite count
3/ Less people mining Pyroxies potentially.
Anyone else got any comments on why this may be?

Real life and stuff
I can see CrazyKinux is reorganizing the Blog pack to remove inactive members and that probably includes me :)
I have a very good reason for being away though - asked Mel to marry me in January - immediately after last post - so we've been somewhat busy travelling to other side of UK to look at venues and stuff (getting married there to kinda save the travel time for 60% of the guests) - basically if we had a wedding in home town all those people need to travel and more importantly need somewhere to stay. Given there is no hotel within 15 miles with the capacity, and cabs cost a lot here, it really would up the costs for everyone. The wedding isn't until 2012, but looking at the books, to get the wedding the exact week Mel wants we have to book by this summer, so we don't have much time. So basically thats where I've been.
I have been online a little, but not enough time to basically get anything done. I've temporarily up-ed sticks from Low-sec to Dodixie, as doing missions fits my 1-2 hour playtime better than low-sec, where its more fun to me.
I will be posting a little more often and have prepped a post for next week on an auto-post shedule, but now need to move as have a weekend of "fun" activities. Thats English sarcasm btw.
Next weekend I'm actually totally not doing anything, so will be online. Hope to see you all online.

Blog Banter #14: A beginning is a very delicate time...
Welcome to the fourteenth installment of the EVE Blog Banter, the monthly EVE Online blogging extravaganza created by none other than me, CrazyKinux. The EVE Blog Banter involves an enthusiastic group of gaming bloggers, a common topic within the realm of EVE Online, and a week to post articles pertaining to the said topic. The resulting articles can either be short or quite extensive, either funny or dead serious, but are always a great fun to read! Any questions about the EVE Blog Banter should be directed to crazykinux@gmail.com. Check out other EVE Blog Banter articles at the bottom of this post!
With the future you have to first look at the past. 2009 was a good year for me in-game, with industrial activities growing over the year, but eventually hitting a wall of making profit, but not as much as I'd hoped when I started. 2010 will start re-evaluating the trading decisions made, with an aim to get out of small profit items and concentrate on big 1 million profit per item minimums. So my first aim for 2010 is to move from a 500 million isk turnover a month to a few billion. How to get there? Well invention was the plan for 2009, and skills are finally coming online to invent just about every module in existance (plus the ships). Aim was to get every skill needed to L4, and that will complete in mid-March, allowing me to compete in all T2 markets, and not just concentrate on small minorities.
Big aim for 2010 is to get the POS up - I've identified a system for this, miles from my usual hangouts - we don't even have an office in the system. Out of the way as its not for moon mining, but for reactions. Carefully placed one jump of a jump freighter from Empire - as this will factor heavily in logistics once I can afford one. The POS will be for T2 moon goo reactions and research (copying) of BPO's. I expect I'll visit it once every few days to move the reactions around, but it will NOT be my main hang out. I've also started logistics of fuel over the past month and have 2 weeks of fuel for a large pos there now. I need more for safety as the aim will be to get to having a jump freighter to factor as mentioned, and hauling fuel is relentless when you are 27 jumps from your main hub!
My other aim is to actually join an alliance and get some 0.0 or wormhole PvP boots in the latter part of 2010 - not done that yet, but I think DSTIC's industrial roots will help many a 0.0 alliance in logistics in terms of being able to build vs buy.
2010 will also involve getting back to blogging 2-3 times a week again as far as out of game activities go - works been a nightmare, and blogging even on my phone on the way to work isn't possible right now...
Dust 514 is interesting, if its going to be released this year (I hope) - I expect I'll be getting whichever console is required. CCP hurry up and commit, as I don't want to end up with the wrong one (PS3 or xbox, I'm not getting both).
I have renewed EVE for all of 2010 (on annual subs) - so I will be about - and I will be blogging about EVE once more. Look forward to chatting in game and seeing everyone more in next couple of weeks when work winds down from the post Christmas madness.
The first banter of 2010 comes to us from the EVE Blog Father, in which I ask the following: As we begin another year in New Eden, ask yourselves "What Now?" What will I attempt next? What haven't I done so far in EVE? Was it out fear, funds, or knowledge? Have I always wanted to start my own corporation, but have never dared doing so? Is there a fledging mercenary waiting to come out of its shell? Or maybe an Industrialist? What steps and objectives will I set myself to accomplish in order to reach my ultimate goal for this year? EVE is what you make of it. So, what is it going to be for you?
