A kind of mini-freighter that can also carry ships as a utility measure. Nothing more annoying than flying 20 jumps than to have to fly 20 back to pick another ship up etc... The hulks will be used in low-sec...

When we get to wormhole ops, it will also be the "supply" ship.

Eventually of course, a Rorqual and potentially a non-industrial carrier is the plan for logistics purposes to get stuff to/from high-sec from deep in low-sec/0.0 using jumps.DeafPlasmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04734909522662764146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5478950382625594368.post-6633441019938358742009-07-21T09:33:26.538-07:002009-07-21T09:33:26.538-07:00I love my Orca and Hulk. The Orca an hold a lot, but it still isn't enough to sit there a entire mining op and its slow to align :( When our corp does our mining ops we have about 5 mining ships (hulks and retrievers) and myself in the Orca. I probably have to drop the ore off at a station half a dozen times a least.Matthew Parkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10625371769545656173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5478950382625594368.post-64839909443507456962009-07-21T08:48:53.042-07:002009-07-21T08:48:53.042-07:00I have most minerals supplied fine, but sometimes ...I have most minerals supplied fine, but sometimes it does hold up production.

The point is more for when the corporation bases itself in more remote areas of space - if there are no decent combat/radar sites then at least the mining sites can be cleared up. The problem is in some areas mining sites sit around too long - being able to just "despawn them" and make some isk in the meantime is a benefit that cannot be ignored.

The other side benefit is the Orca... the plan is to get a Orca as a utility ship prior to anything else, and you may as well have hulk skills if you have Orca skills :)DeafPlasmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04734909522662764146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5478950382625594368.post-17475921350453567912009-07-21T07:32:23.125-07:002009-07-21T07:32:23.125-07:00I'm surprised you are spending time to get you...I'm surprised you are spending time to get your mining skills. I would think that all that training time and refining training time (and the time it takes to mine) would have been better spent doing other stuff for you. I'm surprised you haven't just found someone to supply you with some of the minerals you need.Matthew Parkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10625371769545656173noreply@blogger.com
